Director, Content Strategy

Job Description

Homecare.com is looking for a proven leader to head up content development and strategy for our company. This position will expand our brand online and connect with more than 50,000 families and caregivers currently visiting our website and reading our newsletters each month. The Director Content Strategy will manage all aspects of content on and off the site. Their key metrics will include driving site traffic, lead generation, caregiver signups and building relationships in our home care community. HomeCare.com is the fastest growing home care marketplace in the Mid-Atlantic covering (6) states.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop a network of content experts to contribute to our blog and newsletters
  • Develop an onsite content strategy that helps building our relationship with families, caregivers and the community
  • Expand our newsletter product to help distribute our content and create backlinks back to our site
  • Expand our reviews and testimonial program and distribute reviews on third party sites.
  • Develop our social media marketing tools to maximize shares and drive awareness of our service.
  • Develop talking points for HomeCare.com’s unique value proposition for each industry segment.
  • Help the company build and position its brand on a regional basis through events, marketing materials, digital media and content.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Must be results oriented, capable of tracking all programs and demonstrating the output of each content strategy and investment.
  • Must be creative and able to get results on a small start-up budget.
  • Must understand keyword based content and SEO concepts
  • Must be a leader capable of working with team members across the organization in technology, sales and customer service.
  • Communicate and inspire team members and help us evangelize a different approach to home care.
  • Proven track record in content creation and marketing

Compensation

  • The Director – Content Strategy will receive a competitive base salary and quarterly bonuses based on results.
